Registration process

To register for the conference, one should sent in editable format (.doc, .docx.) 600-words abstracts featuring (1) the title of presentation, (2) a concise bio-note, (3) current affiliation, and (4) all necessary contact information (official email address & phone number) at transmedialstudies@gmail.com by August 20th 2017. Successful applicants will be notified within two weeks after the deadline.

Admission for listeners

IMPORTANT: Admission for listeners without presentations will be free of charge but will not include any benefits. Those, however, who would like to receive full package of conference materials, receive a conference badge entitling to a lunch discount, and gain access to coffee breaks, will be asked to issue a reduced fee. In order to be eligible for those benefits, please contact us at transmedialstudies@gmail.com and follow the instructions sent in an email afterwards.

Conference fee

Registration / conference fee covers:

  • participation in the conference;
  • set of conference materials (cotton bag with conference folder, printed programme, confirmation of attendance, notebook and pen, all specially designed for the purposes of this conference);
  • coffee breaks;
  • wine reception;
  • special discounts at selected Kraków’s restaurants;
  • post-conference photo coverage individually sent to all participants;
  • costs of editing, proofreading, and reviewing ebook of abstracts and post-conference reviewed monograph/or monographic journal edition.

Please not that the registration fee does not guarantee an inclusion in the publication following the conference. Please also note that a registration fee will not be returned if an applicant decides to withdraw his submission later than a month before the conference.

IMPORTANT: please issue the registration fee only after your submission was positively reviewed by the organising committee.

Receipt information

Detailed information about receipts will be sent via email directly to the attendees.Important: Please note that if the payment is transferred from a private account we will not be able to issue a receipt for the institution (only for a private person). For an invoice to be issued for the institution (which is often required for reimbursements), the payment must be transferred from an institutional bank account.

Please also make sure that your are not transferring the fee in euro to a Polish account or the fee in Polish zloty to an international account to avoid invoicing problems.

Attendance problems

In case of any problems with arriving in Poland or in Kraków, please do not withdraw the submission but contact the Organisers as soon as possible to arrange a virtual presentations (there, however, strict limitations to such manner of participation and so each case will be debated and assessed individually).
